Feedback from traders who attended our Hanoi workshops — specific to trendline work, breakout drills, and the habits they kept afterward.

After the Foundations workshop I stopped drawing trendlines through wick extremes. The group critique was uncomfortable at first, but my VNM daily chart finally made sense — I had been anchoring to the wrong swing for months.

The Breakout Intensive replay of last week's HPG move was the clearest explanation of volume confirmation I've heard locally. I still struggle with 15-minute noise, which the instructor acknowledged — they suggested sticking to daily closes for now.

Private review was worth it for the written checklist alone. Linh marked up my FPT chart and showed me I was using a 4-hour line on a daily decision — simple fix, but I wouldn't have caught it alone.

Group Practice keeps me honest. I attend every month even though I finished Foundations two years ago. Comparing trendlines with others reveals blind spots faster than solo review.

The workbook quality surprised me — thick paper, clear print, room for notes. My only complaint is parking near Tran Quang Khai on Saturday mornings can take ten extra minutes. Plan accordingly.

Case story: Rebuilding a VN30 watchlist routine

Le Thanh Hang attended Breakout Timing Intensive in February 2026 after completing Foundations six months earlier.

Hang traded HPG and VNM on a part-time basis while working in hospitality management. She drew trendlines daily but entered breakouts on the first touch, often catching head-fakes during the morning session open.

During the Intensive, the instructor paused a replay of a recent VN-Index horizontal break at 1,280 points. Hang predicted a continuation; the replay showed a volume spike on the first hour but a close back inside the range by afternoon — a false break by SensePath's criteria. She noted the difference between intraday pierce and daily close location.

Three weeks later, Hang emailed to say she had passed on two morning breakouts that failed by midday, and entered a third only after a daily close above resistance with volume 1.4× the twenty-day average. She described the outcome as mixed — the trade worked, but her position size was still too large — and planned a Private Chart Review to address sizing separately from timing.
