Trendline Foundations Workshop
Our flagship session for traders who draw lines but lack confidence in which swing points qualify — and when a trendline has expired.
Who this is for
Active retail traders and part-time swing traders who already watch VN30 or individual Vietnamese equities daily, but find their trendlines contradict each other or fail at obvious levels. You should be comfortable reading candlestick charts before attending — we do not cover basic candle anatomy here.
What you will leave with
A personally annotated workbook covering the VN30 daily chart and three liquid large-caps (typically VNM, HPG, and FPT — adjusted per session based on current structure). Each page shows your initial drawing, instructor corrections, and a written note on why the final line qualifies or was rejected.
Session structure
- Hour 1 Swing identification on printed charts — bodies vs wicks, fractal highs and lows, and the minimum touch rule we use at SensePath.
- Hour 2 Transfer to live software — each participant draws on their own screen while the instructor circulates for one-on-one corrections.
- Hour 3 Group critique — six charts projected anonymously; the room votes on line validity before the instructor reveals the answer and reasoning.
- Hour 4 Redrawing after structure breaks — when a trendline is dead, how to mark the new dominant line, and a pre-market checklist to take home.
